Between 1930 - 1982 Barr Burgess and Stewart was one of Dunedin’s most established and respected accounting practices. Through various mergers and time the name was sadly replaced, however the ‘client first’ principles remained.

In 2018, the team took the opportunity to reestablish this incredible Otago brand and all it stood for - reigniting our passion for clients and commitment to helping businesses grow.

    After six years at the helm, Christine has done it all - running the team, wrangling spreadsheets, making strategic calls, and remembering to order the chocolate biscuits. Known for her ability to juggle a dozen things at once (and still smile through it), she leads with heart, hustle, and a killer sense of humour.

    Loves: a fully filed IRD return, a good hot chocolate, and crossing things off a to-do list.

    Quietly brilliant and effortlessly cool, Darin is the numbers guy who'd rather let the results speak for themselves. A tech-savvy problem-solver with a love of clean data and coastal adventures, he’s the calm in the financial storm. Whether he's fine-tuning a cashflow forecast or catching an early morning wave, precision is kind of his thing.

    Loves: analytics, automation, and a well-timed surf session.

Whether she’s mentoring a new business owner or championing a community initiative, she’s your go-to for friendly financial guidance.
